September 4th

Man...I just realized how long it has been since I posted something. Lacey did get to come home on Monday. She has been doing really good! At first she was crawling around really slow but she has started to pick up her speed again. I think that had a lot to do with the fact that she was in a hospital bed for almost a week. On Wednesday she started to clap her hands. She gets so excited when she does it. She has been making up for lost time on eating and has been keeping everything down. I do not know how the tumor was making her feel but I do know that she has been a lot less whinny since we have been home. She has only been crying when she is tired or hungry. I hate the fact that she has had to deal with the discomfort from the tumor for so long! We take her back to see Dr. Curry on Wednesday so I am hoping that he will be taking off her little bandages then. Sometimes she has been having a hard time sleeping. Not sure if her head is still a little sore or not. There has been NO seizures since last Saturday!

I ended up having to take her to the doctor today. She started having a runny nose and sneezing a lot. Jace started with it yesterday and then she started today. The doctor said that it is just allergies. So I am giving them over the counter medicine and it seems to already be helping.
