Lacey has had a good day! She woke up this morning talking and responding to us. She has been eating really well and has been keeping it down. She has been alert most of the day. She has had three seizures today but they have been a little different from the ones that she had before the surgery. Her eye still twitches but she is not freezing. Dr. Curry told us that they are not worrying about them because they have changed and that we just need to give it time. She will be taken off the nausea medicine tonight. If she can keep her food down tomorrow then we will be going home Monday. Our little Lacey has started to come back! She has been playing more and has started to do her spitting game. The swelling has really gone down. The side of her head by the incision is still pretty swollen but the rest of her face and neck has gone down. Hopefully she will continue to do well and we will be home soon.
