August 24th

Today was a little crazy. We had to be up at Texas Children's at 7:00am for the MRI. They were able to do the MRI earlier then planned because we were there early. Lacey was out of recovery by 9:15am. We then had to take her to do the admission and blood work for the surgery. It took forever! The whole process took about 3 hours. We were heading home about 12:15pm when I received a call on my cell from Texas Children's. The MRI technicians did not get all the images that were needed for the surgery. They told me that we were going to have to take her back to the hospital to get another MRI done but she was going to call me back. So we went over to my parent's house to wait. At 3:30pm we finally got an answer. They decided to wait and do the MRI tomorrow morning before the surgery. I will update after the surgery.
